Specialistcenter Malmö is a private orthopedic specialist clinic located in Västra Hamnen opposite Turning Torso. We provide both inpatient and day surgery operations with high medical quality and close cooperation between all professional categories.

The position is a temporary position/casual employment as one of our anesthetic nurses is going on parental leave.

We are now looking for an anesthetic nurse for the period April 13 – August 31, 2026. Working hours are approximately Monday–Thursday from 07:00 to 16:30. The clinic will be closed for four weeks during the summer.

About the position

You will work in our orthopedic surgical operations in close collaboration with anesthesiologists, other surgical staff, and the care department. We perform orthopedic procedures in both inpatient and day surgery, including:

• Shoulder prostheses, hip prostheses, and knee prostheses

• Shoulder and knee arthroscopies

• Foot surgery

• Elbow surgery

The majority of our anesthesia forms are:

• Spinal anesthesia with sedation

• TCI with laryngeal mask

• Local/regional anesthesia and blocks in combination with sedation.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse with specialist training in anesthesia

• Preferably experience from day surgery or private practice

• Secure, responsible, and independent in your professional role

• Positive, flexible, and easy to collaborate in a team
